Families! Our week just got better! We were so excited to see smiling faces of our students! We missed you! HRE IS SO EXCITED FOR MONDAY! If you were unable to come today, we will get your student squared away Monday! Look forward to a message or email from class dojo AND infinite campus. Remember, we no longer have PowerSchool. Haw River Lion Cub leaders have been engaged in the Capturing Kids Hearts staff development for two days with #Michellebrooks! We are equipped with the tools for a great school year! #ckh #capturingkidshearts #bettertogether HRE will strive to become A Capture Kids Heart showcase school!

A huge thank you to our HRE TEAM Mrs. Delima, Mrs. Altmann, as well as our community partner, Sweatt Realty @vivianelizabethsweatt (https://www.soldbyviviansweatt.com/) for helping us tidy up our gym! We were able to donate some items and did a lot of cleaning! We appreciate the hard work and dedication to our students, staff and community. We are ready for the new school year!

This evening our very own Mrs. Haynes was celebrated at the Evening of Excellence. Mrs. Haynes was a semifinalist for the 2025 Teacher of the Year. Congratulations Mrs. Haynes!

We are starting our morning off filled with surprises from wonderful community partners honoring our teachers and staff on the opening day of Teacher Appreciation Week! A ROARing thanks to FBC Haw River and our neighborhood Food Lion for the tasty treats!
