Congratulations to Ms. de Lima, ESL Teacher at Haw River Elementary School! Though new to the Haw River family, she has already made an incredible impact with her boundless passion and dedication. Ms. de Lima's commitment to enriching her school's culture and supporting all students and families truly stands out. Her warm presence and genuine care for her school community make her an invaluable member of our team.
We were proud to recognize Ms. Lima at last night's Board of Education meeting! Congratulations and thank you for your exceptional work!
We had an amazing time celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! Our students helped facilitate daily announcements, provided a fact of the day, researched countries, created flags, and did art projects. We concluded with a flag parade and a performance by students from SAHS.
It was a great week!
