Thursday, May 1st, is National School Principals' Day. Pleasant Grove wants to express our appreciation for Shanise Goldsby- our AMAZING principal!

The PGE Book Vending Machine is Up and Running! On Thursday, April 3, Ms Goldsby cut the ribbon, and our first group of students were able to select a free book to keep! There has been smiles and excitement throughout the school over the titles inside. Be on the lookout--your student may be coming home with a book.
Readers are Leaders, and our OWLS are ready to read!

🎨 🎃 Who says pumpkins are just for carving? Ms. Melissa Johnson's kindergarten class at Pleasant Grove Elementary put their own colorful spin on fall traditions, painting pumpkins during art class with Ms. Kate Gunther! 👩🎨 ✨ Our young artists developed fine motor skills with each brushstroke while exploring color and design. The best part was watching them work together, sharing supplies and encouraging each other's creativity. It's amazing how a simple pumpkin can teach so much!

¡Celebremos nuestra diversidad! Pleasant Grove Elementary celebrated their diverse student population with its Hispanic Heritage Parade! Students wore colorful, traditional outfits and waved flags representing their culture while walking through the school halls. A big thank you to ESL teacher, Yeny Williams, for organizing this wonderful event that brought the school together and allowed our students to share their heritage.
