The Salvation Army's annual Give a Kid a Coat campaign is officially underway, and we’re inviting our community to help ensure every child and adult has a warm coat this winter.
How You Can Help
Residents wishing to participate can bring outgrown coats or those no longer being worn to A Cleaner World ( 2781 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215), where they will be professionally cleaned and repaired as needed before being distributed by The Salvation Army to individuals and families across the county.
Coat donations for both children and adults will be accepted
Those wishing to make monetary donations for The Salvation Army to purchase coats can do so online here
Coats can be dropped off until February 9, 2026
Please share the attached flyer with any families seeking coats. Distribution to the community will take place at The Salvation Army Family Thrift Store (3720 S. Church St) every Thursday from now until February 19th between the hours of 1PM-4PM.
