Good evening, Blue Jay Families! This is Mrs. Hamilton with a very special message just for our 3rd-5th grade students! Tomorrow is a big day — your End-of-Grade Reading Test! I know you’ve been working so hard all year long, and now it’s your time to shine. This is your chance to show what you know and how much you’ve learned. And let me tell you — we are so proud of you already! Remember, this test doesn’t measure your worth. It doesn’t tell the whole story of who you are. You are creative, you are kind, you are hard-working, and you are brave. This test is just one way to show what your amazing brain can do! So tonight: • Get a good night’s sleep 🌙 • Eat a healthy breakfast in the morning 🍎 • And walk into school with your head held high, ready to do your best 💪 You’ve got this. I believe in you. Your teachers believe in you. And most importantly — believe in yourself. Let’s go out there and knock it out of the park! Have a fantastic day, and remember: you are ready. You are strong. We closed out Teacher Appreciation Week by beginning the day with coffee from Harper Belle's and having a delicious baked potato/salad bar lunch catered by Danny's Cafe! We are so excited to host our first PTA movie night on our ballfield! Gates open at 7:30 PM and each ticket includes 1 of each popcorn, drink and candy! 🎥-Despicable Me 4 (Minions!) 📅- Saturday May 17th ⏰-Gates open at 7:30 PM ⭐️-Movie will start around 8:45 PM 🎟️-$7 each and includes concessions *Don’t forget a chair or blanket to sit on!

Rising 1st-5th Graders, Don't forget to join us this evening to "SOAR UP" to the next grade level and learn about the expectations and curriculum for your next grade in the 25-26 school year! It begins at 4:00pm and ends at 6:00pm. While you are here, be sure to visit both art exhibits, have some delicious pizza, and check out the Italian Ice truck that will be on campus. See you soon!

Today our Blue Jays engaged in learning about various career pathways at our annual career day! They spoke with Personal Trainers, Recreation, Forestry, Law Enforcement, Bee Keepers, Nail Technicians, Dance Instructors, and a former Professional Athlete! 💙💛 #bluejayssoarup

It's a beautiful day to be picked up by your horse at dismissal time. That's what Gracie has done every year on her birthday since she began school at Sylvan! Our students, staff, families, and school culture are what make Sylvan truly a "Happy Nest"! 💙💛 #sylvanisourhappynest
