⭐IMPORTANT UPDATES for the 26-27 School Year⭐
💙We will start unloading cars and buses at 7:30 am this year.
💙All K-5 students will enter the school via the ramp at the end of the sidewalk for our weapons detection screening.
💙All students will report to the cafeteria for breakfast or wait in the gym until we release students to go to class.
💙Instruction starts at 7:50, and arrival after that is considered tardy, and parents MUST walk students into the building and sign them in.
💙For Parents of Rising Kindergarten Students: If you are walking your Kindergarten students in during the first week of school, please arrive between 8:00 and 8:15 am. Kindergarten students arriving after 8:15 am on the first week of school will be marked Tardy. Regular time will resume on the second week of school for all Kindergarten Students.
💙Parents of 1st-5th-grade students: You will not be able to walk veteran Blue Jay students into the school this school year. If you want to meet your child's teacher, please make every effort to attend the Meet the Teacher event on Thursday, August 20th, from 5:00-7:00 pm.
💙Teacher Assignments will be live in Infinite Campus on August 10th. If you need support with your Infinite Campus account, please reach out to Mrs. Moon at kristine_moon@abss.k12.nc.us

Summer break may have started but our teachers are already "stepping up to the plate" to prepare for an amazing 26-27 school year! Yesterday our 3rd-5th grade teams met to do some curriculum planning, take a deep dive into our new ELA curriculum, and set goals with intentional action steps.
