Two important points about National Honor Society
1. Rising Juniors and Seniors interested in applying to NHS in August should have at least 10 hours of verifiable community service, 2 examples of successful leadership experiences, good character, and an unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher and a weighted GPA of 3.85 or higher.
2. The NSHSS (National Society of High School Scholars) has no connection to the National Honor Society. Many families receive letters in the mail and pay money to join this group mistakenly thinking that they are joining the National Honor Society. Please be aware of this.
