Hello, Warriors!

I am excited to start my second year as principal at Western Alamance High School. My educational journey began as a high school social studies teacher in Guilford County. After teaching in traditional and magnet settings, I began my administrative career in 2014. Prior to coming to Western, I served as the principal of Graham High School.

Family is extremely important to me and has helped shape my approach to working with children. My passion is working with high school students and helping them succeed in all aspects of their development. I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to collaborate with the wonderful educators at Western High as well as our students, parents, and community members, in order to continue our strong tradition of excellence. Thank you for your support and for trusting us to educate your children. I’m looking forward to a great year for our students and staff in 2023-2024. We are WA!

I am ecstatic to continue to be a part of the Western Alamance High School staff.

Prior to my employment with ABSS, I taught middle school math in Guilford County for several years. I started my career with ABSS as a high school math teacher, an Academic Coach,  and eventually served as a Behavior Coach and Intervention Specialist.

I earned a Bachelor's degree in mathematics from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University (Aggie Pride!), a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Master's in Statistics and Mathematical Sciences from the University of West Florida.

I consider myself honored and privileged to serve the students, staff, and community of Western Alamance High. Go Warriors!!!

I look forward to the amazing opportunities ahead.  Go Warriors!
