Dr. Lupton shared her enthusiasm for joining the ABSS community and collaborating with its staff:

"I am honored to join the Alamance-Burlington School System and serve alongside such a dedicated team of educators, I look forward to listening, learning, and building strong partnerships as we continue to invest in our people. Together, we can continue to create meaningful opportunities that support educators at every stage of their careers and ultimately improve outcomes for all students."

She then advanced into district-level leadership, managing student support systems, testing data, and school improvement initiatives for Davidson and Guilford County Schools from 2017 to 2020. Most recently, she served as the Executive Director of Professional Learning for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, where she directed training for over 5,000 educators, launched a high-retention teacher training program, and significantly reduced new teacher turnover.

Additionally, Dr. Lupton is a published author, a national presenter, and a current board member for the NC CEEDAR State Leadership Team.
