The ABSS Board of Education along with Superintendent Dr. Dain Butler named JoAnna Gwynn as the new assistant principal of Broadview Middle School.
Gwynn started her career in ABSSS as a teacher at Walter Williams High School and has served as a teacher, principal, and assistant principal in Caswell and Rockingham counties. She also worked as an instructor at Gardner-Webb University. She has twice been named a Wells Fargo District Principal of the Year.
Gwynn is excited about returning to ABSS. She has earned degrees from Greensboro College, North Carolina A&T, and most recently earned her Education Specialist degree from Gardner-Webb University.
She will assume the new role March 13, 2023.
