Our partnership with @elonuniversity in exposing ABSS students to future careers in medicine has once again been a huge success. The Start Early in Medicine initiative just wrapped up for the summer. In 2009, Burlington Police Department-NC Officer Mike Medley was a cadet in the Junior Police Academy. This week, he returned to share his powerful story of how the experience shaped his life's journey to become an officer. His journey shows students how programs like this academy can open doors and positively impact lives.
