NC Beautiful granted us 50 white Azaleas plants to beautify the front of our school. 🌸We need soil and mulch as well as a machine or lots of hands to help us dig. 🎉 We need to plant them sometime between October 6th and the end of October. 🪴🌱 🙌🏼Please email stacey_johnson@abss.k12.nc.us with any questions. 🌟First grade had so much fun learning about community helpers and their importance in the community 🚒🚔👮♀️👩⚕️👩🏼🏫. In keeping with their learning, they met community helpers in their classroom and had the opportunity to dress like one 👩⚕️👮♀️. These lessons were closely aligned with reading, social studies and global learning 📚🌎 🎉 Learning always becomes a reality at Elon Elementary! We loved seeing all our little community helpers ❤️!

SEL is an important part of Elon Elementary's daily learning. Danielle Johnson,a former student of Elon hosted a SEL training program to support teachers.Today teachers of Elon were actively involved in a 2 hour training program in which they all received calm kits to support SEL
Hello Families,
Due to the ABSS budget issues, we are having to make some adjustments to our school budget. Due to this challenging situation, we are asking for family support in purchasing student school supplies for the upcoming year. PTO and our school are making efforts to engage the community through supply drives to help reduce the financial burden. If you are a family needing assistance, please contact our main office.
