This week, we are excited to celebrate **Teacher Appreciation Week** and honor the incredible educators who make a difference in our school each and every day! Our teachers go above and beyond to support, inspire, and care for our students, and this is a wonderful opportunity for us as a community to show our gratitude. We encourage families to join us in recognizing their child’s teacher with a kind note, drawing, small token of appreciation, or simple words of thanks. These gestures—big or small—mean so much and truly brighten our teachers’ days. Thank you for helping us celebrate the dedication, passion, and hard work of our amazing teachers!

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month—a time to honor the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in our communities and across the nation. Throughout the month, our school will highlight diverse traditions, influential leaders, and meaningful stories that have shaped our world. We encourage our students and families to learn, reflect, and celebrate the many cultures that make up the AAPI community. Together, we continue to build a school environment rooted in respect, inclusion, and appreciation for all.

As we enter the final month of school, we are encouraging all students to finish strong by showing integrity in everything they do. Integrity means doing the right thing even when no one is watching—completing assignments honestly, treating others with kindness, and taking responsibility for choices.

Attendance remains very important during these last few weeks. Every school day counts, as teachers are continuing instruction, reviewing key skills, and preparing students for a successful transition to the next grade level. Being present each day helps students stay on track academically and be part of all the exciting end-of-year activities.

Let’s work together to finish the year with strong attendance, positive choices, and a commitment to doing our best. Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we make this final month meaningful and successful for all students! 🌟📚

If your student requires bus transportation next year, you must complete the request form before June 5, 2026. All current and new bus riders have to complete the form. If you do not complete this form before June 5, 2026, you will not be guaranteed transportation when school begins in August.

Good morning again, To the parents of students on bus 55: please try to carpool if you miss the bus. The buses are not allowed to go back due rising fuel costs. There are some exceptions but likely won’t happen. Unfortunately, we do not know when 175 will be at certain stops, so please be on the look out and be outside. We will let you know if there are any other bus changes. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
