THERE IS NO SCHOOL TOMORROW, MAY 25 due to the Memorial Day holiday.

As we head into the final days of the school year, we want to encourage all students to finish strong! End-of-Grade testing for grades 3–5 will take place this week. Please help your child be prepared by ensuring they get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast filled with protein each morning. Encourage them to take their time, use their testing stamina, and keep pushing through even when questions feel difficult. We are proud of all the hard work our students have shown this year!

We also want to remind families that we currently have several illnesses going around the school community. Please help us keep everyone healthy by keeping students home if they have a fever, diarrhea, or are not feeling well. Students should remain home until they are symptom-free for at least 24 hours without medication. Thank you for your continued support as we finish the year together!

This week, we are excited to celebrate **Teacher Appreciation Week** and honor the incredible educators who make a difference in our school each and every day! Our teachers go above and beyond to support, inspire, and care for our students, and this is a wonderful opportunity for us as a community to show our gratitude. We encourage families to join us in recognizing their child’s teacher with a kind note, drawing, small token of appreciation, or simple words of thanks. These gestures—big or small—mean so much and truly brighten our teachers’ days. Thank you for helping us celebrate the dedication, passion, and hard work of our amazing teachers!

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month—a time to honor the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in our communities and across the nation. Throughout the month, our school will highlight diverse traditions, influential leaders, and meaningful stories that have shaped our world. We encourage our students and families to learn, reflect, and celebrate the many cultures that make up the AAPI community. Together, we continue to build a school environment rooted in respect, inclusion, and appreciation for all.

Every school day counts, as teachers are continuing instruction, reviewing key skills, and preparing students for a successful transition to the next grade level. Being present each day helps students stay on track academically and be part of all the exciting end-of-year activities.

Let’s work together to finish the year with strong attendance, positive choices, and a commitment to doing our best. Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we make this final month meaningful and successful for all students! 🌟📚
