Don't forget to return your dance permission slips if you plan on participating in our Fall Sneaker Ball. K-2 will be Thursday, Nov. 16th, from 3:00-4:30, and 3-5 will be Friday, Nov 17th, from 3:00-4:30. Students must have their permission slip to attend.
Family Engagement and Involvement is one of our Big Rocks this year at HRE. One way families can engage this year is to join the RCA House Points App so you can receive alerts and messages in real-time celebrating your child's success! Students will bring home a letter this week with directions on how you can connect to the app and start celebrating your child's success! Students whose families join the House Points App will receive 5 pts. Homerooms with 100% of their class that have a family connection on the RCA House Points app will receive a popcorn party and 5 extra points for each member of their class! On Thursday, E-4 Corporal Justin and his partner Junior joined our 3rd graders to talk about being a veteran and what that means. He shared about his time as a marine and about his job now with Charlie Mike. Charlie Mike is an organization that works to save the lives of those still carrying the unseen wounds of combat, one veteran at a time. #CharlieMike
