House Excelsior was excited to share donations with the Burlington Animal Shelter. Students collected food, toys, blankets, treats, and leashes as part of our #FourHousesOneHeart service learning projects. Students learned about the impact they have made on our furry friends!🖤💛

WOW! We had a great time last week with College and Career Awareness Week! Students were able to learn about various career paths and what it takes to succeed in those careers. We would like to give a special shout-out to Mrs. Tricomi, Sgt. Ellis, and everyone who helped make our Career Day a success. Last week we celebrated National Social Worker Appreciation Week. Haw River Elementary is so fortunate to have Ms. Hill, and we appreciate everything she does. The Hospitality Committee provided her with some of her favorite treats to show our appreciation!
