Please see the details below: Pre-K, Kindergarten, & 1st Grade Families: Please send in store-bought sweet treats (cookies, candy, snack cakes, etc.) 2nd & 3rd Grade Families: Please send in store-bought savory treats (chips, popcorn, pretzels, etc.) 4th & 5th Grade Families: Please send in store bought cans or bottle drinks (sprint, coke, dr. pepper, mountain dew, diet coke, sweet tea, water, juice, etc.) We appreciate your support!

It was "Game On!" last night at our annual Level-Up & Kindergarten Open House night where current and future Lion Cub Leaders were able to check out their next grade level! Students enjoyed sweet treats from Sunset Slush, learning games led by students from @ABEC and a swag bag full of resources to help them prepare for the upcoming school year. #lioncubsleadtheyway🖤💛🦁

The Field Day vibes were strong at Haw River Elementary School on this picture-perfect Friday! There's nothing quite like the thrill of running under a giant parachute! 🪂
Under sunny skies and comfortable temps, students rotated through active stations organized by PE teacher John Gillis. From running and jumping to tug-of-war and the always-popular parachute, there was something for everyone! Board Member Dan Ingle helped students practice their dribbling and shooting skills on the basketball court! 🏀
A huge thanks to the high school volunteers from Eastern, Williams, Southeast, and Cummings who led the stations and helped make this a fun day for all our participants. Time to rest up those legs - it has been an active day! 💪
