Please take a few minutes to review the information about upcoming senior events and graduation.

• May 15th - Strawbridge Studios will be on campus all day to take Cap and Gown Photos.  These photos are optional and will not be used for anything at school.  As we get closer to the date then we will send out a sign-up sheet for those interested in having cap and gown pictures made.

• May 20th @ 1:30 - Senior Walk @ Elementary Schools

• We will transport students to our feeder elementary schools (Garrett, Alexander Wilson, B. Everett Jordan, and South Mebane). Students will have the opportunity to walk the halls in their caps and gowns to remember where their education journey began.

  • Senior Walk at Hawfields Middle School. Students will be transported to Hawfields and we will begin the Senior Walk at 2:30.

• May 28th at 6:00 - Senior Awards Night - This is one of my favorite nights as we get to see students dressed in their graduation gown and many community members are in attendance to recognize our graduates for a variety of achievements.  More information to come as we get closer to the date for this event.   

• June 5th at 10:00 to 11:30 - Graduation Practice - This is mandatory for any student that is planning to participate in our graduation ceremony on June 6th.  

• June 5th at 11:30 - Senior Picnic and Senior Field Day at Southeast - This is not mandatory, but I hope that many of our seniors will attend this event as they can share one last meal together in the SE cafeteria before graduation. 

• June 6th at 9:00 - Graduation Ceremony at the Novant Fieldhouse at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex

• Graduation Dress Code

  • As of right now, each graduate will receive 9 tickets for graduation.  Each person attending graduation, regardless of age, will need a ticket.  I will plan to do a lottery for extra tickets if there are any that are unused.  You are not able to purchase additional tickets.  

  • Entry Policy for the Greensboro Coliseum Complex

  • Please review the list of prohibited items.  Those include balloons, signs, banners, flags, artificial noisemakers, and strollers.

  • Bag Policy for the Greensboro Coliseum Complex

• Option 1 - Full Senior Session 

  • This option includes the formal picture for the yearbook as well as several other informal pictures.  Students will need to bring several outfits to the photo session.  The sitting fee for this option is $39.99.

• Option 2 - Formal Pose Only Session

  • This option includes only the formal picture for the yearbook.  The sitting fee for this option is $19.99.

• Option 3 - Formal Pose Only Session (Make-Up Day)

  • This option includes only the formal picture for the yearbook.  The date of these pictures will be Monday, November 3rd.  There is no sitting fee for this option, but if your child misses this date then there is no make-up and they will not have their picture in the yearbook.  If you wanted a formal picture you would have to schedule and pay for it separately.

BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

• Click on Sign Up for the appointment you would like to schedule.

• Click Submit and Sign Up at the bottom of the page.

• Fill in your personal information on the next screen, then click Sign Up & Pay Now. (Please be sure to include a valid email address. This address will be used for appointment confirmation and proof delivery.)

• Enter your payment details for the sitting fee. Then, click Next.

• Complete the confirmation of payment and appointment.

• A confirmation email will also be sent to you with all of your session information.
