The ASVAB Career Exploration Program is a career planning and exploration program that combines a multiple-aptitude test with an interest self-assessment and a wide range of career exploration tools.

Although utilized by military recruiters to help interested candidates in making military career decisions, it is a beneficial tool which can provide information for over 1,000 occupations to all students without obligation.  The following are helpful sites which supply additional information and helpful test preparation for those wishing to take this free assessment.  (Tip: Avoid clicking on sponsored ads.  All study guides and practice tests are free on the following sites.)  The ASVAB test is offered at least once during the year.

The next test date at Western Alamance High School is Spring 2024.  For more information or to sign up to take the assessment, please see Mrs. Simpson-Coble, Career Development Coordinator, located in the Student Services Building.

And yes!  There's an app for that!  Search for the one entitled "ASVAB Test Complete" with the icon that looks like Army camo.  It's also free!  One can also be found at this website
