Bulldog Bark

Greetings Bulldog Family,

We would like to extend a warm "welcome back" to all of our Bulldogs and we hope you had a wonderful and safe Spring break. Can you believe that we only have 8 more weeks of school in the 2022-2023 school year? The last day of school will be here before you know it! That said, it is important that you work on finishing strong. Let’s make these last few weeks count!

Here are the announcements for the upcoming week:

  1. On Monday, April 17, students will have one final opportunity to purchase prom tickets. We will accept cash only, and please bring the exact amount; all obligations must be paid before a student can buy tickets. A table will be set up in front of the counseling office from 8:15 am to 9:00 am and from 3:45 pm to 4:15 pm. If you need to register, please click HERE and complete the form by noon on Monday, April 17. Please note that if you register between now and Monday, you can only purchase tickets during the afternoon window.

  2. Our final report card pick up for this school year will be held on Tuesday April 18th. This event will begin at 4:30pm and conclude at 6:00pm. Come out to discuss a plan with your child’s teacher about how they can finish strong!

  3. In an effort to ensure that students have an opportunity to get extra support with content, content recovery (make up assignments), and to provide content enrichment opportunities, students attend Bulldog Time every day from 11:40 am - 12:15pm. This is not an option and all students are expected to attend their assigned class for the day. Please see the revised Bulldog Time schedule below. This schedule will begin on Monday April 18th, 2023.

Timmons, College Advisor with questions.

5. Ten additional scholarships have been added to the Class of 2023 Scholarship Memo.  This information was emailed to seniors Friday, March 31st and is posted on Williams’ School Counseling page.

6. Check-In Assessments are approaching! April 24th through April 28th, students who are in Math 1, Math 3, English 2, and Biology courses will take the NC Check-In Benchmarks. These are in-class assessments. See your teacher for the specific day you take your class test with them.

Today, tomorrow, and everyday is a great day to be a Bulldog!
