Bulldog Bark - April 30, 2023

Bulldog Community,

As we close out the month of April, there is one full month left before we enter our final exams. How are you ensuring that you finish your courses strong? Stay in contact with your teachers if you need additional assistance, and ensure you have a plan to end up where you want to be.

Below are our announcements for the week.

  1. Create a Legacy by ordering Bricks for Bulldogs. Order yours today using this form.

  2. This message is for our Bulldogs enrolled in Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Please ensure you closely read the AP Exam Letter linked here and on the homepage of our school website. The letter provides detailed information about exams, including a Google Form that parents/guardians must complete (if not already done). Exams will take place on campus in the Annex or Foreign Languages building. Make sure you arrive on time for your exams and get a good night's rest.

  3. Attention rising seniors. Are you looking for summer opportunities? If so, ABSS is offering two free camps!  “Discover Your Destiny” allows you to explore career pathways.  “911, What's Your Emergency?” allows you to earn a credential and become a 911 operator!  See Ms. Harris in room 103A for more information!  To sign up, visit http://www.tinyurl.com/ABSSCTEcamp23 .

  4. Attention, Seniors! The final announcements are specifically for you. There will be a Senior Job Fair on May 11th.  With almost 50 hiring employers, this is a great opportunity for you!  Spots are limited, and transportation is provided.  Please see Ms. Harris in room 103A for a permission slip today!

  5. Five additional scholarships have been added to the Class of 2023 Scholarship Memo.  This information was emailed to seniors Friday, April 28th, and is posted on Williams’ School Counseling page.

  6. Additionally, The Senior Exit survey was emailed to seniors on Friday, April 28 as well. It is extremely important for all seniors to complete the survey. It tells us about post-high school plans, where to send final transcripts, allows students to provide information for the commencement (graduation) program, and collects data on monies offered to seniors by colleges. This survey and the Class of 2023 Post Secondary Plan DCT  will be seniors’ admission ticket into the Senior Send Off Celebration on May 23rd."

Today, tomorrow, and every day is a great day to be a Bulldog!

Onward Bulldogs, and have a good evening,

-Mr. Dail
