It’s hard to believe tomorrow is the tenth day of school. As we enter week three, please ensure you are keeping watch on your grades in PowerSchool. Our first progress report is just around the corner. Below are the announcements for the week.
Tomorrow, Monday, September 12, is our school picture day.
The deadline to register for the PSAT is September 14. The PSAT is an optional exam and costs a small fee to participate. However, it is also the National Merit Scholarship Qualification Test for students in their junior year. Click here for the online payment portal.
Fall baseball workouts begin soon. To participate, an updated physical must be on file. Contact Coach Jamie Athas for more information.
There will be a women's golf information meeting in the gym after school on Wednesday, September 14. Contact Coach Alan Gardner for more information.
Our lacrosse team will hold an interest meeting Monday, September 12th at 6:30 pm in the gym lobby. If you are interested in playing lacrosse this spring or have any questions, please plan to attend this meeting.
All students who have completed Math 1 are invited to join Mu Alpha Theta, the Math Honors Society! Pick up an application from Ms. Allen in Room 205. Applications are due on Thursday, September 15.
There will be two interest meetings for any young lady planning on trying out for the girl's basketball team. The meetings will be in the 3rd-floor gym balcony classroom on Tuesday, September 13, at 8:30 am and at 3:45 pm. If you cannot attend a meeting, you MUST stop by room 228 to talk to Coach Jason Cheek. Pre-season workouts will begin the week of September 26th.
Our first Face to Face of the year will be Tuesday, September 27th, come out and meet your student's teachers.
Don't forget Car Riders are to be dropped off and picked up on Arlington Ave by the bulldog statue. Country Club Dr is for School Buses only during dropoff and pickup. Please stay out of the bus lane until 5 pm.
