Good Evening Williams Community!

Below are important announcements for the week ahead.

  1. Students who participated in the NC Check-In for Math I, Math III, English II, and Biology I now have their Individual Score report posted to the Powerschool Parent Portal. Please review the attached letter with directions to find your child's score.
  2. Fall picture makeups and retakes for 9th-11th graders AND Senior portrait makeups will take place on Thursday, November 3rd. Seniors do not need to sign up for an appointment. A schedule will be sent to those who still need their picture taken telling them when to report to the photographer.  Click here for picture order form
  3.  Attention: Any female who is interested in trying out for the Girls Basketball team this year, tryouts will be Tuesday Nov. 1st and Wednesday Nov. 2nd from 4:00 - 5:45pm in the school gymnasium. Make sure you are dressed and ready to practice. All participants MUST have a completed physical on file and DragonFly eligibility requirements completed, before you can participate.
  4. There will be an interest meeting for anyone who plans to tryout for Women's Soccer this spring on Tuesday October 25th at 4:00pm in the gym balcony.
  5. We will have a senior meeting during Bulldog time on Thursday, October 27 to discuss cap and gown orders. Herff Jones representatives will be available during this time. Seniors will be called out of 2nd block at 11:30. Seniors need to move quickly to the auditorium when called.
  6. Freshmen students and parents - We will have an information session for Elon Academy on Thursday, November 3rd at 5:30pm in the school auditorium.
  7. Attention Juniors and Seniors: Do you have skills? Will those skills help you in the areas of electronics, mechanical engineering, technology, or robotics? Are you interested in being paid to finish high school and attend ACC? Would a guaranteed job after high school be helpful to you? If the answer to any or all of these questions is YES, see Ms. Harris for information about the Career Accelerator Program and to sign up for the information session. This information session will be held for parents and students on November 3rd at 6:00 pm in the Media Center. Attendance at an information session is the first step in creating a solid foundation for your future through the CAP program.
