Members of PTSO were at the WHS Bus Drivers drop off at school early this morning. They greeted our wonderful Bus Drivers and gave out treat bags. The bags contained a few treats, water bottle, and a gift card for a free breakfast at McDonald's!

Did you know? When Burlington High School closed in 1951, its last senior class became the first to graduate in Walter Williams Auditorium. Though BHS was closed, the Bulldog mascot carried on at Walter M Williams High School. #WWHS75

75th anniversary fact in honor of the first day of our 2025-2026 school year:
In May 1951, Williams High School held its first open house upon its completion. While at least 12,000 toured the facilities, some police officers overseeing security estimated thousands more were present. The population of Burlington was around 25,000 at the time.
