Our Star Student for November is Lia Hamlett who was nominated by her American History teacher Todd Christensen. Mr. Christensen said about Lia, "Lia consistently tries her hardest in class. She focuses on learning and growing every day no matter what the subject is. She is also kind and respectful to her peers and teachers."

Our Star teacher for November is Social Studies teacher Todd Christensen who was nominated by colleague Bernadette Howell who said of Mr. Christensen, "Todd engages his students with his passion for history. I have observed Todd being kind and understanding with children that are having challenges with understanding the historical knowledge he teaches. His teaching style and his classroom setting set an atmosphere for students to gain and maintain historical content."

Kalyn Faille (class of 2025) performed at Reynolds Auditorium this past weekend after she earned 1 of 3 coveted trumpet positions with the All State Honors Orchestra, she was also the only student from Alamance county to earn a spot! Veronica Biscocho, the North Carolina Honors Orchestra Chair was proud to have a fellow Bulldog representing not only our school, but the City of Burlington and all of Alamance County as well. Go Kalyn!
