Due to continued hazardous road conditions, we will transition to a Remote Learning Day on Tuesday, January 27. This means all schools and facilities will be closed for students and staff. Students should work on their remote learning assignments. No athletics or afterschool activities. Remote Learning Days are flexible school days where students work at their own pace on posted assignments, also known as asynchronous work. While there are no required live classes, teachers are available during optional office hours if students have questions. Students are expected to complete all activities and reach out to their teachers if they need assistance. Work is due within five days of returning to school. We are closely monitoring the incoming winter weather. Students are bringing learning packets home today for potential remote instruction. If power outages occur, we may move to a full closure instead. Safety is our priority! Watch for updates via call, text, email, social media, and posted on our website.

To clear up any confusion, the week of January 5 through January 9 are regular school days for all students. Students who are required to take teacher made exams will take them during this time. Students who are exempt from teacher made exams will have other assignments or EOC review.

Looking for some top-notch hoops competition? Then look no further than the upcoming, 3rd annual Central City Classic hosted by Williams.
The Central City Classic will be held in Spikes Gym at Williams HS on Dec. 12 & 13. This event will feature 16 of the top boys and girls teams in central North Carolina. $12.00 admission (No Passes). Come support the Bulldogs and enjoy a full day of great high school basketball!

Happy 6-7 day! Today is the 67th student day and our staff celebrated with our bulldog inspired 6-7 shirts and having various 6-7 related activities in classes!

Due to the forecast of below-freezing temperatures accompanied by precipitation, ABSS will be closed for all students and staff tomorrow, Friday, December 5th. This includes all after-school activities. We have made this decision out of caution to ensure the safety of our school community.
