Kelsey Jacobson Named Assistant Principal of Woodlawn Middle School hiring announcement

Kelsey Jacobson will bring nearly a decade of public education experience to her new role as Assistant Principal at Woodlawn Middle School.

Mrs. Jacobson's career within Alamance-Burlington Schools has included serving as an Adapted Curriculum Teacher at Graham Middle School and as an EC Program Specialist for the district. She has also completed administrative internships at Hillcrest Elementary and Southeast Alamance High School. These diverse experiences have shaped her approach to creating a school environment where every student and staff member feels seen, supported, and valued.

Her educational background includes an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from High Point University through the Leadership Academy, a B.A. in Special Education (Adapted Curriculum) from UNC Wilmington as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow, and an M.Ed. in Special Education from UNC Charlotte as part of the Intensive Teacher and Counseling Training Project cohort.
