Students at Eastlawn Elementary received a special visit today from firefighters at the Burlington Fire Department. 🚒 They spoke to the kids about how they work to fight fires and keep our community safe. A highlight of the visit was when the firefighters showed off their protective gear, including their fire-resistant suits, helmets, masks, and breathing equipment. While it may look big and scary to little eyes, the firefighters explained how each piece has an important purpose in protecting them from smoke, fire, and falling objects. 🔥 #ABSSCommunity
