It's Election Day! 🗳 Which would you vote for: Oreo or Chips Ahoy? 🍪 Second Graders at AO Elementary participated in an Official Grade 2 Cookie election. After learning about the election process, students created campaign posters, engaged in persuasive discussions, and completed an official ballot. The results are in! Oreo won in 5 classes, Chips Ahoy in 1.
Attention bus riders on Burch Bridge Rd. Thursday morning, Nov. 10 your pickup will be earlier than expected. Bus 57 will be making the stops, starting at 6:30 AM. Your pick-up will be at least 30 minutes early. Bus 34 will be running its usual route and picking up the students on 157 that are not on Burch Bridge
Bus 60 will covered by 157 in the morning. Students will need to be out 10 mins earlier than normal. Bus 157 students may be picked up a few minutes later than normal. Bus 57 will be picking up the students on Burch Bridge Rd, starting around 6:30.
Bus 61 has to be double routed in the morning. Students that ride bus 61 will need to be ready and looking for the bus by 6:30 tomorrow morning. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Bus riders that live in the Brassfield neighborhood will start arriving home around 2:55. Bus riders that live at 2207 Burch Bridge Rd. will arrive around 3:10.
Starting tomorrow, October 21, students that ride bus 157 in the morning will need to be at their stop 15 minutes earlier.

Parents, bus 61 will not have a driver in the morning. We will cover the route like we did today, using other buses to pick up the students.
AO Parents: We will not have a driver for bus 157 (orange/red) on Friday afternoon. We are working on a plan to transport your students on other buses or as a double load on a bus. You should expect your student to get home later than usual on Friday. We apologize for this inconvenience.
AO parents, bus 57 has experienced mechanical difficulty this morning. We will be sending a replacement bus to pick up the students but be aware that you may be picked up later than usual.
