A quick hour on the move at Graham High School clearly shows high levels of academic rigor and student engagement across campus! Ms. Surgeon paused for a photo with one of her students in Interior Design as they were deep into research on NYC living costs and floor plans. The Fire Academy juniors were sharpening their emergency prep time with equipment weighing over 40 pounds! Next, we visited the GHS Teacher of the Year, Ms. Walsh, whose AP Government class was engaged in a dynamic Blooket review with students competing for points. Assistant Principal Mr. Barfield even joined in but ultimately couldn't top the charts. Meanwhile, Ms. Teachout’s dance students were perfecting their routines for this Friday's Winter Concert. Very impressive choreography! We also caught Ms. Egli’s PE class working on their jumpers, students laser-focused in Ms. Daniels' social studies class, and the Student Services team collaborating to meet student needs. It's inspiring to see this level of commitment from our students and staff every day!

Three male students holding basketballs pose together on a wooden gymnasium floor. This relates to students working on their jumpers in PE with Ms. Egli.

Due to the forecast of below-freezing temperatures accompanied by precipitation, ABSS will be closed for all students and staff tomorrow, Friday, December 5th. This includes all after-school activities. We have made this decision out of caution to ensure the safety of our school community.
