National Teacher Appreciation Day takes place on the Tuesday of the first full week in May each year. This is a day for honoring teachers and recognizing the lasting contributions they make to our lives.

4th & 5th Grade Students: Please join us for a night of fun at the Sneaker Ball Prom on Thursday, May 25th, at 5:30pm in the Hillcrest Elementary Gym. Wear your best formal attire and add your favorite sneakers to accompany the look! Tickets are $5.
3rd -5th Grade Students: Next week we will begin our last round of NC Check-In Testing. Please get some rest this weekend and be prepared to show what you know!! We will see you on Monday before 8:00am!
Tomorrow morning from 9:00 a.m. to Noon, we will have our District recruitment fair at Highland Elementary School.

In Ms. Reilly's 4th grade class, students have been analyzing Technical Texts to discover how to make connections between text and real world activities. Students created a potato planter and a lung model.
