We had a pumpkin-filled day in Kindergarten! 🎃 They read From Seed to Pumpkin and then got hands-on carving their own pumpkin! Learning about nature's magic from start to finish is always a blast!

This week, Mrs. Ludwig's and Mrs. Lohman's 5th grade classes put the 7 Habits they've been learning into action by writing letters and creating care bags for the victims and responders in Western North Carolina. Proud of our Hillcrest Elementary students for making a difference!

Our school united to collect supplies for Hurricane Relief Efforts, proving that together we can make a difference. Thank you to everyone for your generosity and support.

Join us for an evening to learn more about your child’s academic journey this year! We are also supporting Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts by collecting general supplies during the event—please consider bringing donations like soap, toothpaste, or other necessities.
Kids will enjoy a movie and snacks in the gym while you attend the sessions.

Due to predicted high wind gusts and the potential for flash flooding and tornadoes from Hurricane Helene, all ABSS schools and district offices will be closed on Friday, September 27. This closure applies to all ABSS facilities and activities.

We had phenomenal attendance at our first PTO fundraiser of the year with Grimace! Thanks to your support, the Hillcrest PTO received $400 for PTO projects. Way to go, Hillcrest families!

DOT DAY was this past Sunday and it is a day where we celebrate art and all the times we tried something we didn’t think we could do. It is inspired by the book written by Peter H Reynolds “The Dot". Thank you Ms. Bellamy inspiring our students to create this beautiful art!
