Hello families. We will be splitting bus 88 students between the other buses for the PM route Thursday, Jan 8 and Friday, Jan 9 due to bus driver absence. Be advised that this will cause delays for all bus routes. We appreciate your patience and apologize for the inconvenience

Please delete if you do not have students in our afternoon Eagles Nest daycare program.

Dear Eagles Nest Families,
We are looking forward to our upcoming school event on Friday, January 30, and wanted to share a few important details regarding Eagles Nest programming that afternoon.

Because the event will use many of the shared spaces normally used by Eagles Nest, students staying for PM Eagles Nest will attend the event from 3-5pm under Eagles Nest and school staff supervision. This allows us to maintain appropriate supervision and ensure student safety.

While we are calling this a “dance,” students will not be dancing the entire time. The event will be highly organized and structured by grade-level spans (K–1, 2–3, and 4–5), with students rotating through multiple stations, including dance, snack, and a craft/photo area.

Eagles Nest students are not required to purchase the $5 Dance Bundle, though families are welcome to do so. Students attending through Eagles Nest will still have the option to receive their regular afternoon snack.
Parents may pick up their child at any time during the event; you do not need to wait until 5:00 p.m. That said, we hope families will allow students the opportunity to participate in and enjoy the entire event (which ends at 5). If you have not arrived to pick them up by 5 pm, they will be returned to the Eagles Nest program. Eagles Nest care will end at 5:45 (like normal).
If you prefer not to have your child attend the event, you are welcome to pick them up via car riders (just fill out the online form) following our normal change-of-transportation procedures.

Thank you for your flexibility and continued support. Please feel free to contact Dr. Westmoreland or Mrs. Keenan if you have any questions.

Good morning,
This message is for car rider parents.
Due to the frigid temperatures, we will not be able to use our student Safety Patrol for morning car rider arrivals. Our adults will be split down the line, and we may need our older students to help us by opening their own doors. We appreciate your patience this morning!

Due to the forecast of below-freezing temperatures accompanied by precipitation, ABSS will be closed for all students and staff tomorrow, Friday, December 5th. This includes all after-school activities. We have made this decision out of caution to ensure the safety of our school community.
