
Good Evening Graham High School Families. This is Summer Rogers, assistant principal with some important announcements for the week ahead.
From our Graduation Coach Ms. Noland; Evening Academy continues to operate Monday- Thursday from 4:15 to 6:15 in the media center. Students this is a time to make up assignments, work on credit recovery courses, receive more help with class assignments/projects. Saturday Academy is offered from 9am-12pm. Three Saturday dates are left for the Spring Semester May 6, May 20th and June 3rd.
From our Assistant Principal Ms. Lackey: GHS will host a Senior Parent Meeting, Tuesday, May 2 at 6:00 in the auditorium. All End of Year activities will be discussed along with expectations and details needed for each event. Following the meeting, Cap and Gown and other graduation items will be distributed. All balances must be paid in full. If you have not purchased your cap and gown, orders will be taken after the parent meeting. The total cost is $90.00. Please contact Ms. Lackey if you have any questions.
GHS Prom will be held April 29th at Vailtree Event Center. Be sure you have secured your tickets. If you are bringing a guest who does not attend GHS, you must get the prom guest approval form filled out. Ms. Lugo in the front office has these forms.
GHS Underclassmen Semi-Formal (grades 9th-10th) will be held May 12th at Graham High school. Tickets will go on sale this Friday April 21st.

If enough students sign up Alamance Burlington Schools will be offering a May Driver's Ed class at Alamance Community College. Most summer classes will also be housed there as it is centrally located for all schools. Please see below for information to sign up for the May class. Good evening GHS Families. This is Principal Joshua Brown with your weekly update. This week is Spring Break. We hope all students will enjoy your time away from school. Students will return on April 17th. On Tuesday, April 18th, GHS will host our final Face-2-Face Night for the school year. Parents will be able to pick up student report cards, meet with teachers and best of all, indulge in a hot dogs and chips dinner. Face-2-Face will run from 5-6:30 PM.
Seniors interested in the Senior Trip to Carowinds, don't forget to turn in your deposit. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Molly Walsh.
Any student that is interested in taking the ASVAB test, should reach out to Mr. Randal Clapp. The ASVAB test will be given on April 24th at 9:00 AM.
April 26th GHS will host a City of Graham Job Fair from 9-3:30 PM. Students will have the opportunity to visit and learn about various career paths with the city of Graham. We hope all students will take part in this great hands-on event.
Prom will take place on April 29th from 8PM-12AM at the Vailtree event center. Tickets can be found online. We are looking forward to seeing our juniors and seniors there. Underclassmen don't feel so down. We will have a formal for you all on May 12th. More information is coming soon.

Friday, March 31st is a Teacher Workday. Spring Break begins on Friday, April 7th. Students will return to school on April 17th. The NCAA Watch party will be Saturday, April 1st. The times will be listed next week.
An email has been sent to ALL students regarding their interest in Saturday Academy. Saturday Academy allows students to make up credits, receive tutoring, prepare for EOCs or AP exams, prepare for the ACT or SAT and/or gain OCS Work Hours. Please encourage your student to check their email and complete the survey titled Saturday Academy Survey. If you are a senior needing assistance in a required course to graduate, please make every effort to attend. Also, Evening Academy is held every Monday through Thursday from 4:15 to 6:15. This is another way for students to receive tutoring and/or work to complete Credit Recovery.
Families, we will host our Face-2-Face on Tuesday, April 18th from 5:00-6:30. Report cards will be issued and parents can meet with teachers. Hotdogs and Chips will be served. Seniors interested in going on the Senior Trip to Carowinds, there will be two parent meeting sessions offered. One from 4:30-5:00 and the other from 6:30-7:00.
Juniors and Seniors get excited! It’s prom season! Tickets will go on sale this week. You can purchase a single ticket for $40 or couples can purchase together for $70. This price will stay in effect until April 6th. After Spring break, tickets will increase to $50 for a single and $80 for a couple. We will see you at prom, on April 29th.

Doors will open at 5:30. Concessions will be sold. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.
