We're excited to announce that juniors Gabriel Castillo Calderon and Lexi Weaver have been accepted into the Teacher Scholars Program for the 2023/24 school year. Pictured with them is Ms. LaTasha Fonville, Principal. The Teacher Scholar Program is through the Alamance Scholars program. It will have students taking the NC Teacher Cadet courses to prepare for getting a degree in education after high school graduation. Students will get to work in classrooms to determine if teaching is the right choice for them. #StudentCenteredFutureFocused

ABSS will hold the Senior Job Fair on May 11th. You can pick up a permission slip from Ms. Farmer, Ms. Campbell, Ms. Cope, Mr. Lawson, Mr. Dunkerton, or Mr. Sama. We are accepting them on a first-come first served basis. Spots are limited, so get them back ASAP. We will schedule a meeting with you before the May event to finalize your resume and talk to you about how to dress and help you prep for interviews. We’ve had students leave this event with job offers in the past. Email Ms. Farmer if you have any questions.
