During last week's early release day, students gathered in the gym during Specials to learn more about Mardi Gras. Students were able to color and create their own masks as well as listen to a book about Mardi Gras. #HighlandHighlight

2nd grade students got to learn more about Ghana and it's culture from one of our parents. Mr. Duodu spoke about the flag from Ghana and the meaning of its colors. He and his family also brought in many handmade items including instruments that he played. Students were given an opportunity to show their musical talents on the instruments as well. #HighlandHighlight
