Parade of Diverse Cultures: We are excited to be planning Highland's second annual Parade of Diverse Cultures! The parade will take place Tuesday, April 4 at 10:00am. 2nd grade students got to learn more about Ghana and it's culture from one of our parents. Mr. Duodu spoke about the flag from Ghana and the meaning of its colors. He and his family also brought in many handmade items including instruments that he played. Students were given an opportunity to show their musical talents on the instruments as well. #HighlandHighlight

Lookout! Paper airplanes in progress. ✈️ 5th and 1st grade learning Buddies experimented with different types of paper to make the best paper airplane. Students then tested their planes to see how they flew. So good to see our students working together. #HighlandHighlight
