Our partnership with @elonuniversity in exposing ABSS students to future careers in medicine has once again been a huge success. The Start Early in Medicine initiative just wrapped up for the summer. With hands-on learning and working with professionals, these students are gaining knowledge and inspiration to become future medical professionals. #StudentCenteredFutureFocused

In 2009, Burlington Police Department-NC Officer Mike Medley was a cadet in the Junior Police Academy. This week, he returned to share his powerful story of how the experience shaped his life's journey to become an officer. His journey shows students how programs like this academy can open doors and positively impact lives. A huge thanks to our #ABSSCommunity who donated to the Alamance Chamber Classroom Collection! 🙏 Our ABSS Team, along with Labcorp and the Chamber, started shopping for school supplies today with donated funds, which are still being accepted through August 11. They have been performing in France, Switzerland, Germany & Austria over a two-week period as part of the NC Ambassador of Music Band comprised of 140 musicians.
