Do you recognize these landmarks? 🏖️🗼 After studying seven lighthouses along North Carolina's coast, the talented 4th graders at Elon Elementary, guided by Instructional Assistant Cindy House, went all out with their research, picked their favorite lighthouse, and brought it to life through their creative models. Each one was unique and impressive! 🌟 The students even presented their projects to the class, giving insightful talks about their chosen lighthouses. The State Championship bound WAHS Softball Team got a community send-off celebration tonight at Wings To Go in Burlington. Cheerleaders, parents, and community members came out to show their support for the Warriors as they prepare to take on East Lincoln Friday night at UNCG.





Eastern Alamance Girls Soccer clinched a 4-1 victory over Jacksonville Cardinals in the 3A Regional Championship game! 👏 This win secures their spot in the 3A State Championship, marking their third appearance in program history. Karsyn Johnson made seven saves, while Molly Widderich, the senior captain, scored two back-to-back goals in the first half. They play this Saturday at UNCG Soccer Stadium. Go Eagles! 🦅


Today, we want to extend a heartfelt thanks to our Maintenance crew for their exceptional work on our campus grounds. 🛠 They gathered today for lunch, prepared by Board Member Chuck March and joined by Vice Chair Ryan Bowden and Superintendent Dain Butler. We appreciate you! 🙌

ICYMI: The Western Alamance Softball team has secured their spot as the 3A East Regional Champions! A stellar performance by Taylor Apple, who pitched a complete game shutout and recorded an incredible 14 strikeouts. The Warriors' hard work and determination have paid off, and now they are preparing for the upcoming 3A State Championship on June 2nd and 3rd. Congratulations to Erika Kennedy on being named the North Carolina D.A.R.E. Educator of the Year! 🎉 Ms. Kennedy, a fifth-grade teacher at A-O Elementary, collaborates with Alamance County Sheriff's Office D.A.R.E. Officer Sgt. Chad Laws to deliver lessons, helps students with their essays, and leads her class in project-based volunteer opportunities. She fosters a classroom atmosphere where students come in eager to learn while showing good character and positive behavior. She is a role model for her students by creating opportunities for them to help each other and those around them. #StudentCenteredFutureFocused
