Congratulations to the Walter Williams HS Band on placing second overall in the 3A Fall Festival Band Competition this weekend at NW Guilford High School. The band also earned: 1st place percussion, 1st place color guard, 2nd visual effects, and 2nd place drum major.

To take learning beyond the classroom, eighth grade students at Western Middle created a "wax museum" of famous people from Spanish-speaking countries. After a month of research, they developed a speech to summarize the person's life, along with a visual representation.
