Good Evening Wildcat Families,
Today is National Speech Pathologist Day so be sure to let Mr. Cunningham know how much you appreciate him.
We are well into the last nine weeks of the school year and it is important that all students are on time and present for school.
Singing Wildcat participants will continue to meet on Monday and Wednesday mornings this week.
Monday, May 19th is E.M. Holt Spirit Night at It’s All Good from 4-8pm.
Tuesday, May 20th we will host the SHS Senior Graduation Walk at 1:30pm.
On Wednesday, May 21st and Thursday, May 22nd Pelican's Snoballs will be at school to help us kick off the EOGs with a sweet treat. The cost is $5.50 per child.
Third through fifth grade students will participate on Wednesday, May 21st.
Kindergarten through second grade students will participate on Thursday, May 22nd.
Friday, May 23rd-June 6th we have End of Grade Testing and we are in need of proctors so please let us know if you can help.
Friday, May 23rd our 3rd and 5th grade students will take the Reading End of Grade Test.
Looking ahead to the next few weeks:
May 26th is the Memorial Day holiday and there is no school for students.
May 28th- Grade 3 Math & Grade 5 Math Testing
May 29th- Grade 3 RtA & Grade 4 Reading Testing
May 30th- Grade 4 Math & Grade 5 Science Testing
NC Extend 1 testing will start on May 24th
Make-up Testing will be held on the following dates:
May 27th and June 2nd- June 6th
The Grade 3 Reading Retest will be given on June 4th
June 2nd-K-2 End of Year Awards
June 3rd-3rd & 4th Grade End of Year Awards
June 4th-5th Grade End of Year Awards and Celebration
June 6th is the last day of school.
