Good Afternoon Wildcat Families,
This week we have a full week of school. It is critical that all students are on time and present for school. Remember if your child is out that you need to submit an absence note using the link on the school website to upload your note.
Please remember all students should utilize the car line in the morning and practice walking in on their own. We will have staff stationed around the school to assist students with getting to their classrooms.
Remember prior to 7:20 all cars should remain in the lane closest to the gazebo to allow morning care traffic to get through. Parents that are dropping off for morning care must be through the car line prior to 7:20. At 7:20 we will begin double lanes.
Students not enrolled in the before school program can be dropped off after 7:20. Staff will begin unloading car riders at 7:20. Help us make the car rider line run smoothly by making sure your child is prepared to unload by being unbuckled, and having their bookbag/lunchbox in hand. For safety reasons, all students must unload from the passenger side. Do not attempt to go around other cars. All students should be in class by 7:50. If you enter the line after this time you are tardy and you will need to walk your child in and sign them in.
We dismiss at 2:35 in the afternoon. If you need to change your child’s transportation information for the day, please be sure to complete the transportation change form on the school website prior to 2pm. If you are picking up your child in the car rider line please make sure you have your car rider tag displayed. If you need a car rider tag please call the front office.
On Wednesday, September 10th we will kick off our school wide fundraiser for this year. The funds that are raised will go toward our playground equipment fund and purchasing instructional materials that benefit all of our students and classrooms.
On Thursday, September 11th our third grade students will take the third grade beginning of grade reading test.
For parents and visitors coming to have lunch please remember that outside food and drinks are not permitted in the cafeteria. We encourage all families to complete the free and reduced lunch application. Even if your child qualified in the past, you must complete the form each year. You can complete the free and reduced lunch application online at https://www.lunchapplication.com/
