Good Evening Wildcat Families,
We are now into the second nine weeks of the school year and it is critical that all students are on time and present for school.
Remember if your child is out that you need to submit an absence note using the link on the school website to upload your note. All students should be in class by 7:50. Help us make the car rider line run smoothly in the morning by making sure your child is prepared to unload by being unbuckled, and having their bookbag/lunchbox in hand. If you need to change your child’s transportation information for the day, please be sure to complete the transportation change form on the school website prior to 2pm. If you are picking up your child in the car rider line please make sure you have your car rider tag displayed. All students should be picked up by 3:00.
Thank you to everyone that donated to the backpack food program last week, we so appreciate your help.
Monday, November 10th our fourth and fifth grade students will go on their field trip for Elon Education Day.
Tuesday, November 11th is the Veterans Day holiday and there is no school.
In honor of Veteran’s Day, if you are a veteran or have a veteran in your family, we would like to say thank you! You are invited to submit the name of the Veteran, branch of service and photo to be placed on our bulletin board honoring Veterans. You can send the information to school with your student. Please do not send original photos.
Wednesday, November 12th we will have our first nine weeks awards day program.

Thursday, November 13th our fifth grade students will go on their field trip to the Morehead Planetarium.
Friday, November 14th our third grade students will go on their field trip to the Greensboro Science Center.
As a reminder, for parents and visitors coming to have lunch please remember that outside food and drinks are not permitted in the cafeteria. We encourage all families to complete the free and reduced lunch application. Even if your child qualified in the past, you must complete the form each year.
