This week we are celebrating the hard work and dedication of our bus drivers. E.M. Holt would love to show our appreciation to our drivers by creating baskets filled with goodies. If you are able to donate goodies for the baskets we would appreciate all donations being sent in by Thursday, February 12th.

This week we have a full week of school. It is critical that all students are on time and present for school. Strong attendance helps students build positive habits, strong relationships, and academic confidence. We need your help to make sure all of our students are here each day and on time.
Remember if your child is out that you need to submit an absence note using the link on the school website. All students should be in class by 7:50.
4th and 5th grade choir participants will have practice on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings this week.
On Monday, February 9th we will have our second nine weeks awards program.

On Monday evening we have PTO Skate Night at Roll-A-bout Skating Center from 6-8pm. The cost for skaters and non-skaters is $5 cash. Students must be accompanied by an adult.
There will be an ABSS Community Voice Session on Monday, February 9th at Southeast Alamance High School in the auditorium beginning at 6 PM regarding the rezoning process.

Please remember that Friday, February 13th is now a regular student day. It is the make-up day from Friday, January 30th.
As a reminder if you need to change your child’s transportation information for the day, please be sure to complete the transportation change form on the school website prior to 2pm. If you are picking up your child in the car rider line please make sure you have your car rider tag displayed. All students should be picked up by 3:00.
For parents and visitors coming to have lunch please remember that outside food and drinks are not permitted in the cafeteria.
