Wildcat Weekly Updates:  Week of May 3rd

We want to remind everyone of the importance of being at school each and every day.   Remember if your child is out that you need to submit an absence note using the link on the school website.  All students should be in class by 7:50.

4th and 5th grade choir participants will have practice on Monday and Wednesday mornings this week.  

This week we celebrate Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week.  You can help us celebrate all of our special Wildcat educators.

Monday, May 4th-Bring a hand drawn portrait of your teachers.

Tuesday, May 5th-Bring a flower for your teachers.

Wednesday, May 6th-Bring your teachers  a special hand drawn thank you card.

Wednesday is also National School Nurse day.  Please join us in thanking Mrs. Johnson for her hard work and dedication.  

Progress reports for the 4th nine weeks will come home on Wednesday.

Thursday, May 7th-Bring a sweet treat for your teachers.

Friday, May 8th-Write a note to your teachers to let them know how special they are to you.

On Friday afternoon our second grade classes will be hosting Alex’s Lemonade Stand.  All classes will have the opportunity to participate.  Students can bring donations for the lemonade stand.

General Reminders

As a reminder if you need to change your child’s transportation information for the day, please be sure to complete the transportation change form on the school website prior to 2pm. 

For parents and visitors coming to have lunch please remember that outside food and drinks are not permitted in the cafeteria. 

We currently have $386 in school lunch debt. Please make sure to pay your child’s lunch balance.  You can pay online at https://www.k12paymentcenter.com/

If you would like to donate to help with our school lunch debt we now have a fundraising page. This page is dedicated specifically to our school, and 100% of the donations will go directly back to our school to help eliminate school lunch debt. Looking ahead to the next few weeks:

EOG testing is coming up and we need your help. We will be testing between May 22nd and June 5th. If you can help proctor please sign up using the link below. https://forms.gle/y6CBcDY1YXDUTd1E9

If your student requires bus transportation next year, you must complete the request form before June 5, 2026. All current and new bus riders have to complete the form. If you do not complete this form before June 5, 2026, you will not be guaranteed transportation when school begins in August.
