Wildcat Weekly Updates-Week of May 24th

Good Afternoon Wildcat Families,

We want to  remind everyone of the importance of being at school each and every day.  Remember if your child is out that you need to submit an absence note using the link on the school website.  All students should be in class by 7:50.  

As a reminder if you need to change your child’s transportation information for the day, please be sure to complete the transportation change form on the school website prior to 2pm. 

We need your help to get all library books turned in before the end of the school year.  

Monday, May 25th is a holiday and there is no school for students. 

This week we continue our  EOG testing for our third, fourth and fifth grade students.   It is important that all students get plenty of rest, eat a good breakfast and arrive at school on time. We will begin testing promptly at 8am.  

Tuesday, May 26th: 5th Grade Science End of Grade Testing 

Wednesday, May 27th: 3rd- 5th Grade Math End of Grade Testing

Thursday, May 28th: 3rd Grade Read to Achieve Test, Reading Retest.and Make-Up Testing

Friday, May 29th: Science Retest and Make-Up Testing

For parents and visitors coming to have lunch please remember that outside food and drinks are not permitted in the cafeteria. We currently have $538 in school lunch debt. Please make sure to pay your child’s lunch balance.  You can pay online at https://www.k12paymentcenter.com/

You can help pay our school lunch debt down on the All for Lunch fundraising page. This page is dedicated specifically to our school, and 100% of the donations will go directly back to our school to help eliminate school lunch debt. There are no fees, and all donations are tax-deductible. Donors will automatically receive a receipt via email after giving.   www.AllforLunch.org/EMHoltES

Looking ahead to the next few weeks:

If your student requires bus transportation next year, you must complete the request form before June 5, 2026. All current and new bus riders have to complete the form. If you do not complete this form before June 5, 2026, you will not be guaranteed transportation when school begins in August.

We are in need of new PTO Officers. Our current officers have served their 2 years and will be helping transition to new ones.  Are you interested in being a PTO Officer at EM Holt Elementary? Friday, June 5th is the last day of school and it is an early release day.  Students will be dismissed at 11:30 .The afterschool program will not operate on Friday, June 5th.  Please be sure to make arrangements for your child.   

 If your child has any leftover medicine at school, you will need to pick it up by Friday, June 5th.
