Wildcat Weekly Updates: Week of August 31st

Good Evening Wildcat Families,

We hope everyone enjoyed the weekend and are ready to come back for the second week of school.

It is critical that all students are on time and present for school.

As we return for the second week of school all students should utilize the car line in the morning and practice walking in on their own.   We will have staff stationed around the school to assist students with getting to their classrooms.

Students not enrolled in the before school program can be dropped off after 7:20.   Staff will begin unloading car riders beginning at 7:20.  Please be sure your child is ready and prepared to unload in the morning.  All students should unload from the passenger side.  Students that arrive between 7:20 and 7:30 will enter at the pit entrance and wait to be dismissed to class at 7:30.  All students should be in class by 7:50.  If you enter the car line after this time you are tardy and you will need to walk your child in and sign them in.

We dismiss at 2:35 in the afternoon.  If you need to change your child’s transportation information for the day, please be sure to complete the transportation change form on the school website prior to 2pm.  If you are picking up your child in the car rider line please make sure you have your car rider tag displayed.  If you need a car rider tag please call the front office.

We ask all parents and visitors to wait until the week of September 8th to come and have lunch so our teachers and staff can work with students on establishing cafeteria routines and procedures.  Please remember that outside food and drinks are not permitted in the cafeteria.

On Friday, September 4th we will kick off our school wide fundraiser for this year. The funds that are raised will go toward purchasing instructional materials that benefit all of our students and classrooms.

We encourage all families to complete the free and reduced lunch application.  Even if your child qualified in the past, you must complete the form each year.    You can complete the free and reduced lunch application online at   https://www.lunchapplication.com/

You can pay your child’s lunch balance  online at https://www.k12paymentcenter.com/
