Good Afternoon Wildcat Families,
This week we will continue the PTO Candy Donation Competition to help PTO collect candy donations for the Fall Festival. They are asking for any size bag of individually wrapped candy to be used as prizes at the Fall Festival on Friday, October 9th.
All fundraiser orders were due last Friday. If you have not already turned in your order forms and money please do so on Monday. We still have superhero keychains to pass out for any students that have submitted orders.
On Tuesday, September 29th we hope you will come out and join us for PTO Skate Night at Roll-A-Bout Skating Center from 6-8pm. The cost for skaters and non-skaters is $5.00.
Progress reports will come home on Wednesday, September 30th.
The Candy Contest ends on Thursday, October 1st. The grade level with the highest weight of candy wins 10 minutes of extra recess! Currently fourth and fifth grade are tied with the most candy!
Friday is National School Custodian Appreciation Day so please join us in thanking our custodians for their dedication and hard work.
Friday, October 2nd is a Teacher Workday and there is no school for students.
Now for a few general reminders:
It is critical that all students are on time and present for school. Remember if your child is out that you need to submit an absence note using the link on the school website to upload your note.
As a reminder students not enrolled in the before school program can be dropped off after 7:20 in the morning. Please make sure your child is prepared to unload in the morning and that they unload from the passenger side. All students should be in class by 7:50. If you enter the car line after this time you are tardy and you will need to walk your child in and sign them in.
If you need to change your child’s transportation information for the day, please be sure to complete the transportation change form on the school website prior to 2pm. We dismiss at 2:35 in the afternoon. If you are picking up your child in the car rider line please display your car rider tag. All car riders should be picked up by 3:10.
For parents and visitors coming to have lunch please remember that outside food and drinks are not permitted in the cafeteria. We encourage all families to complete the free and reduced lunch application. Even if your child qualified in the past, you must complete the form each year.
