Thank you to everyone that donated items and or came out to support the Fall Festival. It was wonderful to see everyone out having a great time.
This week we will be celebrating fire prevention week with the E.M. Holt Fire Department.
On Wednesday, October 14th we will hold a fourth grade Sound to Sea interest meeting at 6pm in the media center. This is a great time for fourth grade families to come and learn more about the Sound to Sea trip.
On Thursday, October 15th fifth grade students will go on their field trip to Camp Chestnut Ridge.
On Friday, October 16th first grade students will go on their field trip to Fogleman Farms.
Now for a few general reminders:
It is critical that all students are on time and present for school. Remember if your child is out that you need to submit an absence note using the link on the school website to upload your note.
As a reminder students not enrolled in the before school program can be dropped off after 7:20 in the morning. Please make sure your child is prepared to unload in the morning and that they unload from the passenger side. All students should be in class by 7:50. If you enter the car line after this time you are tardy and you will need to walk your child in and sign them in.
If you need to change your child’s transportation information for the day, please be sure to complete the transportation change form on the school website prior to 2pm. We dismiss at 2:35 in the afternoon. If you are picking up your child in the car rider line please display your car rider tag. All car riders should be picked up by 3:10.
This week is National School Lunch Week. We currently have an overdue lunch balance of $477. If you would like to help us pay the lunch debt down. You can donate at www.AllforLunch.org/EMHoltES This page is dedicated specifically to our school, and 100% of the donations will go directly back to our school to help eliminate school lunch debt. There are no fees, and all donations are tax-deductible. Donors will automatically receive a receipt via email after giving.

For parents and visitors coming to have lunch please remember that outside food and drinks are not permitted in the cafeteria.
