AJ is driven by a desire to succeed and serve as an inspiration to those around him. "I’m excited about chasing my dreams and showing others there's always a way out," he shared. Whether he’s under a welding hood or behind the wheel, AJ is focused on working hard and paving his own way.
While he’s looking forward to his career, he’s leaving Cummings with a major milestone: being crowned Prom King! 👑
Congratulations, AJ! We can’t wait to see you conquer the road ahead. 🛠️🚛

Come meet with your child’s teacher to find out what they are learning in class and what they need to work on to be successful. Also, visit our science fair to check out the amazing projects our students have been working on. We will have additional parent resources available, and food is on a first come first serve basis.

Let’s rally around one of our own—Amara, a hardworking Cavalier junior, has earned an incredible opportunity to study in Japan this summer and expand her academic and cultural horizons. As a fellow member of the Cavalier community, your support can help make her dream a reality—every donation brings her one step closer!
Check the comments for her GoFundMe website.

Congratulations to our very own Mackenzii Walker for being selected to attend the NC Governor's School during the summer of 2026 in the area of Social Science! We are so proud of you, and you are truly Second to None!

We are looking for community and business volunteers to serve as Interview Judges for an upcoming student career readiness event at Cummings High School! 🎤📄
Every Cummings Career Management and English IV student will create a resume for an entry-level job and participate in a mock interview with a community or business professional. The goal of this experience is to help students practice real-world interview skills while preparing for future job, scholarship, and college interviews. 🎓💼
⏱ Time Commitment:
Each interview will last 7–10 minutes per student.
📝 What You’ll Do as an Interview Judge:
• Ask two required general interview questions provided to you
• Choose at least two additional questions from a provided list based on the student’s resume
• Provide students with a realistic interview experience and encouraging feedback
Your participation will make a huge impact by helping students gain confidence, practice professional communication, and experience what a real interview feels like. 🌟
