Like many of the other schools in Alamance-Burlington School System, Cummings High School is saddened by the catastrophic damage Hurricane Helene brought to Western North Carolina.
Our National Honor Society has decided to hold a Change Drive on Wednesday, October 9th where we will go from class to class accepting donations. Once all funds have been collected we will donate to BeLoved Asheville.

Great News! CHS will offer summer school & credit recovery starting tomorrow, June 18-26 from 8-12. We are closed on Fridays. Students will bring their own lunch, snacks & their own transportation. Students who may attend will receive an invitation in their emails.

Seniors need to arrive at the ACC Hall of Champions between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m.
Doors to the Fieldhouse will open at 8:00 a.m.

It's almost time to celebrate the Class of 2024!
For those of you coming to Graduation on Saturday, please be aware of the following:
--- Everyone must have their own ticket; age does not matter. Seniors will receive 15 at the end of rehearsal on Friday.
--- Numerous other events are happening at the Coliseum Complex; please arrive with plenty of time to find parking.
--- Doors will open at 8:00 a.m.; they will close at 8:50 a.m. to clear the aisles for the processional and re-open once all seniors have been seated.
--- Event staff will be doing security checks; please make sure you do not have any prohibited items.
Drum Roll Please . . . A number you have been waiting on! The Class of 2024 will receive FIFTEEN tickets! They will be distributed at the end of rehearsal on Friday, June 7. Seniors should arrive in the auditorium between 9:00 and 9:25 a.m. They must attend the entire practice.
When a student has completed all exams, he/she needs to return their Chromebook. They can return it to their 4th block teacher or to the person who administers their state exam. Please make sure to return your charger, too! This should be done by noon on Friday, June 7.
