The Hugh M. Cummings High School Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration was a huge success! Last Friday, their Media Center was filled with vibrant colors, culture, and information! Students showcased projects on famous Hispanic figures, while the Chika Cavs 💃 wowed participants with traditional dance performances. Visitors enjoyed fun games and many proudly displayed their Hispanic heritage through colorful face-painting of flags 🎨. Classes rotated in throughout the day, ensuring everyone had a chance to participate and learn! A big thank you to the Cummings World Languages/ESL department for organizing this amazing event, and to everyone who participated.
